Day by day
Let each day return to the same intention from a slightly different angle: need, trust, gratitude, patience, or surrender.
Novena journal prompts
A novena is a nine-day Catholic prayer rhythm held around one intention, need, feast, gratitude, or season. Journaling beside a novena gives the prayer somewhere to settle.
You do not need a perfect entry each day. Choose one prompt, write one honest line, and return to the same intention with as much attention as today can hold.
Let each day return to the same intention from a slightly different angle: need, trust, gratitude, patience, or surrender.
Name the person, grief, hope, decision, thanksgiving, or season you are carrying. Keep it simple enough to return to.
Write one sentence after prayer. A short entry can still help you remember what this day held.
A novena is a return, not a performance. If a day passes without the prayer, begin again with the next day you can give.
In your journal, name what is true and continue gently. The intention is still worth carrying.
Come Aside keeps novenas inside Devotions, near the daily readings, reflection, Rosary, and journal. You can carry an intention, mark the prayer you kept, and write the line you want to remember.
