Account Sync

Come Aside works without an account. Optional sync uses email magic-link sign-in. If a sign-in link does not arrive, check spam, confirm the email address, and request a fresh link from Settings > Account & Sync.

Subscriptions

Come Aside Plus subscriptions are managed through Apple in-app purchase. Use Restore purchases on the Come Aside Plus gate, or Settings > Subscription > Restore purchases after reinstalling the app or moving to a new device. Subscription cancellation and refund requests are handled through Apple.

Local Data

Use Export my data on the Come Aside Plus gate, or Settings > About > Export my data when the app is open, to share a text JSON copy of profile, journal, devotion, milestone, and non-sensitive settings. Local voice reflection files are not included in the text export.

Use Delete local data on the Come Aside Plus gate, or Settings > About > Delete local data when the app is open, to remove profile, journal, devotion, milestone, reminder, local voice reflection data, local sessions, and the generated billing identifier from the current device.

If account sync is enabled, use Settings > Account & Sync > Delete sync account to delete the sync account and synced data. Deleting local data alone does not delete synced account data.

Voice Reflections

Voice reflection files stay local on the device in version one. If playback fails, confirm microphone permission is enabled, save a new short voice reflection, and try playing it from Journal again.

Journal Import

Journal import accepts files selected by the user. Imported entries are text-only; local audio file paths from imported files are ignored so old device paths are not carried into the app.

Apple Journal

Saved Come Aside reflections can be sent to Apple Journal through the iOS Share Sheet when you choose Send to Apple Journal. Come Aside does not read Apple Journal, write entries there in the background, or keep the two journals synced. If a Come Aside entry includes a local voice reflection, the shared text notes that the voice note remains in Come Aside.
