Wisdom 7:22b-8:1

for wisdom, that is the architect of all things, taught me. For there is in her a spirit that is quick to understand, holy, unique, manifold, subtle, freely moving, clear in utterance, unpolluted, distinct, invulnerable, loving what is good, keen, unhindered, beneficent, loving toward man, steadfast, sure, free from care, all-powerful, all-surveying, and penetrating through all spirits that are quick to understand, pure, most subtle. For wisdom is more mobile than any motion. Yes, she pervades and penetrates all things by reason of her purity. For she is a breath of the power of God, and a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty. Therefore nothing defiled can find entrance into her. For she is a reflection of everlasting light, an unspotted mirror of the working of God, and an image of his goodness. Although she is one, she has power to do all things. Remaining in herself, she renews all things. From generation to generation passing into holy souls, she makes friends of God and prophets. For God loves nothing as much as one who dwells with wisdom. For she is fairer than the sun, and above all the constellations of the stars. She is better than light. For daylight yields to night, but evil does not prevail against wisdom. But she reaches from one end to the other with full strength, and orders all things well.

LORD, your word is settled in heaven forever. Your faithfulness is to all generations. You have established the earth, and it remains. Your laws remain to this day, for all things serve you. The entrance of your words gives light. It gives understanding to the simple. Make your face shine on your servant. Teach me your statutes. Let my soul live, that I may praise you. Let your ordinances help me.

Luke 17:20-25

Cuando los fariseos le preguntaron cuándo vendría el Reino de Dios, les contestó: "El Reino de Dios no viene con advertencia; ni dirán: '¡Helo aquí!' o '¡Helo allí!', porque he aquí que el Reino de Dios está entre vosotros." Dijo a los discípulos: "Vendrán días en que desearéis ver uno de los días del Hijo del Hombre, y no lo veréis. Os dirán: '¡Helo aquí!' o '¡Helo allí!'. No vayáis ni los sigáis, porque como el relámpago que al fulgurar resplandece desde un extremo del cielo hasta el otro, así también será el Hijo del Hombre en su día. Pero primero es necesario que padezca muchas cosas y sea rechazado por esta generación.
