Romans 8:1-11

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace; because the mind of the flesh is hostile toward God, for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be. Those who are in the flesh can't please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his. If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

The earth is the LORD's, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell in it. For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods. Who may ascend to the LORD's hill? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face-even Jacob. Selah.

Luke 13:1-9

Al mismo tiempo estaban presentes algunos que le hablaron de los galileos cuya sangre Pilato había mezclado con sus sacrificios. Jesús les contestó: «¿Pensáis que estos galileos eran peores pecadores que todos los demás galileos, por haber sufrido tales cosas? Os digo que no; pero si no os arrepentís, todos pereceréis de la misma manera. O aquellos dieciocho sobre los que cayó la torre en Siloé y los mató: ¿pensáis que eran peores pecadores que todos los hombres que habitan en Jerusalén? Os digo que no; sino que, si no os arrepentís, todos pereceréis de la misma manera.» Dijo esta parábola: "Un hombre tenía una higuera plantada en su viña, y vino a buscar fruto en ella y no lo encontró. Y dijo al viñador: 'Mira, estos tres años he venido a buscar fruto en esta higuera, y no lo he encontrado. Córtala. ¿Por qué ha de inutilizar también la tierra?' El viñador respondió: 'Señor, déjala también este año, hasta que cave alrededor y la abone. Si da fruto, bien; pero si no, después puedes cortarla'".
