1 Timothy 1:1-2, 12-14
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ according to the commandment of God our Savior and the Lord Jesus Christ our hope, to Timothy, my true child in faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. I thank him who enabled me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he counted me faithful, appointing me to service, although I used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor, and insolent. However, I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. The grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you. My soul, you have said to the LORD, "You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing." The LORD assigned my portion and my cup. Luke 6:39-42
Les dijo una parábola. "¿Puede un ciego guiar a otro ciego? ¿No caerán ambos en un hoyo? El discípulo no está por encima de su maestro, pero todo el que esté completamente instruido será como su maestro. ¿Por qué miras la paja que está en el ojo de tu hermano, pero no consideras la viga que está en tu propio ojo? ¿Cómo puedes decirle a tu hermano: 'Hermano, déjame quitarte la paja que tienes en el ojo', cuando tú mismo no ves la viga que tienes en tu propio ojo? ¡Hipócrita! Primero quita la viga de tu propio ojo, y entonces podrás ver con claridad para quitar la paja que está en el ojo de tu hermano.
