Hebrews 4:12-16

For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account. Having then a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let's hold tightly to our confession. For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.

Psalm 19:8, 9, 10, 15

The LORD's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD's commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever. The LORD's ordinances are true, and righteous altogether. They are more to be desired than gold, yes, than much fine gold, sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, LORD, my rock, and my redeemer.

Mark 2:13-17

Volvió a salir a la orilla del mar. Toda la multitud se acercaba a él, y él les enseñaba. Al pasar, vio a Leví, hijo de Alfeo, sentado en la oficina de impuestos. Le dijo: «Sígueme». Y él se levantó y le siguió. Estaba sentado a la mesa en su casa, y muchos recaudadores de impuestos y pecadores se sentaron con Jesús y sus discípulos, pues eran muchos, y le seguían. Los escribas y los fariseos, al ver que comía con los pecadores y los recaudadores de impuestos, dijeron a sus discípulos: «¿Por qué come y bebe con los recaudadores de impuestos y los pecadores?» Al oírlo, Jesús les dijo: «Los sanos no tienen necesidad de médico, sino los enfermos. No he venido a llamar a los justos, sino a los pecadores al arrepentimiento».
