The LORD of Armies says: "Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come. The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, 'Let's go speedily to entreat the favor of the LORD, and to seek the LORD of Armies. I will go also.' Yes, many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the LORD of Armies in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of the LORD." The LORD of Armies says: "In those days, ten men out of all the languages of the nations will take hold of the skirt of him who is a Jew, saying, 'We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.' "

Ein Psalmlied der Kinder Korah. Sie ist fest gegründet auf den heiligen Bergen. Der HERR liebt die Tore Zions über alle Wohnungen Jakobs. Herrliche Dinge werden in dir gepredigt, du Stadt Gottes. (Sela.) Ich will predigen lassen Rahab und Babel, daß sie mich kennen sollen. Siehe, die Philister und Tyrer samt den Mohren werden daselbst geboren. Man wird zu Zion sagen, daß allerlei Leute darin geboren werden und daß er, der Höchste, sie baue. Der HERR wird zählen, wenn er aufschreibt die Völker: "Diese sind daselbst geboren." (Sela.) Und die Sänger wie die im Reigen werden alle in dir singen, eins ums andere.

Luke 9:51-56
It came to pass, when the days were near that he should be taken up, he intently set his face to go to Jerusalem and sent messengers before his face. They went and entered into a village of the Samaritans, so as to prepare for him. They didn't receive him, because he was traveling with his face set toward Jerusalem. When his disciples, James and John, saw this, they said, "Lord, do you want us to command fire to come down from the sky and destroy them, just as Elijah did?" But he turned and rebuked them, "You don't know of what kind of spirit you are. For the Son of Man didn't come to destroy men's lives, but to save them." They went to another village.
