Heutige Lesungen
Erste Lesung
Sirach 4:11-19
Wisdom exalts her sons, and takes hold of those who seek her. He who loves her loves life. Those who seek her early will be filled with gladness. He who holds her fast will inherit glory. Where he enters, the Lord will bless. Those who serve her minister to the Holy One. The Lord loves those who love her. He who listens to her will judge the nations. He who heeds her will dwell securely. If he trusts her, he will inherit her, and his generations will possess her. For at the first she will walk with him in crooked ways, and will bring fear and dread upon him, and torment him with her discipline, until she may trust his soul, and try him by her judgments. Then she will return him again to the straight way, and will gladden him, and reveal to him her secrets. If he goes astray, she will forsake him, and hand him over to his fall.
Antwortpsalm
Psalm 119:165, 168, 171, 172, 174, 175
Those who love your law have great peace. Nothing causes them to stumble. I have obeyed your precepts and your testimonies, for all my ways are before you. TAV Let my lips utter praise, for you teach me your statutes. Let my tongue sing of your word, for all your commandments are righteousness. I have longed for your salvation, LORD. Your law is my delight. Let my soul live, that I may praise you. Let your ordinances help me.
Evangelium
Mark 9:38-40
John said to him, "Teacher, we saw someone who doesn't follow us casting out demons in your name; and we forbade him, because he doesn't follow us." But Jesus said, "Don't forbid him, for there is no one who will do a mighty work in my name and be able quickly to speak evil of me. For whoever is not against us is on our side.
